VICTORY THROUGH HARMONY: - Jayl is a lifetime supporter of Arsenal FC & Co-Founder & Life President of the Official Arsenal Gloucester Supporter's Club. He founded the club with his wife Niki in 2004, after they completed a special Health & Fitness Course through Arsenal FC. As Chairman and Secretary of the club, they became Jayl & Niki Gunner - with the VICTORY THROUGH HARMONY concept of 'brethren regardless of background, colour or creed'. All related as brothers and sisters through the common ground of having 'Arsenal in the Blood'. Original AGSC Logo + Jayl & Niki with FA Cup Highbury 2003 ....

Jayl & Niki - Sport For Life

Leading up to the club's formation, throughout 2002-03, Jayl and Niki studied and completed the 'Sport for Life' (Foundation Studies in Exercise) course through Arsenal FC; in conjunction with the Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College. The course concentrated on many aspects of fitness, health and exercise, including diet & nutrition, injury prevention, stretching and designing work-out programmes. Essentially 'Fitness - the Arsene Wenger way!' They were then very honoured to be presented with their certificates at a special event at Highbury, by none other than Jayl's boyhood hero - Charlie George. CLICK ON LINK BELOW ....

VICTORY THROUGH HARMONY: - In 2006, Jayl & Niki organized for one of our very own supporter's club members - a brave young man called Luke Morris; who was fighting a most challenging and painful life-threatening illness - to visit the players at London Colney. Afterwards, Jayl & Niki were honoured to receive a signed picture of all the players and also a Letter of Gratitude and photos from Luke himself. Something we treasure to this very day.

Prior to sending Harmony School lads to Arsenal Soccer Schools - In 2006 - Jayl formed his own 5-a-side football team - NORTH BANK FC - from members of the Arsenal Gloucester Supporter's Club; to play in the Stroud Pitch Invasion League. The team also featured in the annual Official Arsenal Supporter's Club tournaments (playing other Arsenal Supporter's clubs from around the globe) - once at Highbury in 2006 and again at the Emirates from 2007 - 2010; reaching the Semi-Final one year. And although North Bank didn't win the tournament, many young men played for the team - with dreams coming true - to play on the pitch at Highbury & the Emirates, and use the dressing rooms and share the same spaces as the Arsenal players themselves.
VICTORY THROUGH HARMONY: -Despite being North Bank's most senior player, Jayl set a constant example and played more games than anyone - predominantly as a goalkeeper. He also secured a shirt sponsorship deal with Gloucester Sports. NORTH BANK FC finally won a trophy in the late summer of 2008 - winning the Stroud Pitch Invasion League Championship and going on a 21 game unbeaten run. During this time, Jayl won an Outstanding Player Award and went on to play 100 consecutive games between 2008-2009. CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW ....

VICTORY THROUGH HARMONY: - In 2023, Jayl was chosen as one of only 771 special fans, to be featured on Reuben Dangoor's magnificent mural on the side of the Emirates Stadium. This was the ultimate honour, after so many years of loyalty to the Arsenal and the principles that Jayl grew up on - of 'Victoria Concordia Crescit' - Victory Through Harmony. A philosophy that not only underpins such a glorious old football club now going through an exciting and uplifting phase; but is also an integral part of Sport For Life and the Harmony School principles and philosophies.
